Service Description

This 7 hour PALS course is designed for emergency response professionals/healthcare providers who either direct or participate in the recognition/ interventions of pediatric emergencies. The PALS course uses a series of videos and simulated pediatric emergencies to emphasize important Infant & Child centered components. These components include important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, team dynamics, PALS treatment algorithms for respiratory emergencies, cardiac arrest, bradycardic & tachycardic dysrhythmias, & immediate post-cardiac arrest. This course is suitable for personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units -- such as physicians, nurses, and paramedics -- as well as others who need a PALS course completion card for job or other requirements. Certification Card will be electronically provided on the SAME DAY as the class.
