After completing the online portion of an American Heart Association ACLS course, students attend a structured Hands-On Session with an AHA Instructor. Please allow for 60-90 minutes of time to complete all the required skills. Participant must be prepared to perform High Quality CPR on a manikin as well as demonstrate proficient  knowledge of ACLS components. These components include team dynamics and communication; systems of care; recognition of and intervention in cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS). Please provide a copy of the course completion certificate which will include an "IMP....." code on the bottom left. You MUST CALL OR TEXT (863-660-9165) to arrange date, time and location for the skills check!!
